Jeff Shaw was born in Pasadena California in 1960. He grew up in Arcadia California where he was introduced to golf at age four by his father. He played high school golf at Arcadia and later played college golf at The University of Southern California. Following college Jeff entered into the PGA program while working at San Gabriel CC.
Later, after obtaining PGA membership, Jeff decided to play full time. He participated in events on the Hogan, Nike, Canadain and South Pacific tours. While on the South Pacific Tour he won the pro-am at the Tahiti Open and captured the Nandi Open on the island of Fiji. After returning from the South Pacific, Jeff started teaching full time.
Jeff is a Senior AimPoint instructor and conducts clinics from Canada to Cabo. More and more Tour players are using AimPoint as well as Colleges and top amateurs. It is a precise way to know exactly what the break is on any green worldwide.
Jeff is also certified as a Wright balance bio-mechanics fitter. You can know the exact size stance for your putter, woods and irons and the exact size grip you should be using to be in perfect balance.
Jeff has been teaching for nearly 35 years and has coached golfers from beginners to Tour players.
